Candy Cane Cookie Bars

To make things merry and bright, bake these cookie bars tonight!

Candy Cane Cookie Bar ingredients

The first layer is cake mix to give you the ground, you’ll need your base to be solid and sound.

Then you mix snow with toppings galore, soon you’ll have everyone asking for more.

Sweetened condensed milk to top it off,

makes it come out of the oven all gooey and soft.

Ingredients:

I Chocolate Cake Mix (Gluten Free if desired)

1 1/3 cups butter

25 Mini candy canes crushed (About 1 cup)

1 1/3 cups white chocolate chips

1 1/3 cups dried coconut flakes or shredded

1 Can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350*F

Let butter sit out until it is room temperature.

Get some Holiday aggression out by beating the living daylight out of the tiny candy canes. It takes about 25 Mini Candy canes to make 1 Cup.

Pour cake mix in a bowl, add butter and mix till crumbly. Cover the bottom of a brownie pan or casserole dish with the cake/butter mixture. This is the dirt below the snow.

Mix the white chocolate chips, coconut (The snow) and candy cane bits, then spread evenly over the top.

Pour the can of condensed milk over the entire mixture.

Place in the oven at 350* for 20- 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 hour before cutting. I know it’s hard but trust me, if you cut while hot you’ll only have dirty snowy mush!

If you want to be naughty here’s the scoop, after cooking sneak in some reindeer poop (hidden regular chocolate chips).
